The news just keeps getting better for Australian MMA and UFC fans. The UFC and Network Ten have just announced that they will be broadcasting the event LIVE and FREE on Network Ten's channel "ONE".
ONE currently airs UFC Wired every Thursday night and looks to expand its programming services with more UFC content in 2010.
This is a great opportunity for those fans who weren't able to get tickets for the show. Now they can enjoy the full UFC action right at home with expert commentary, replays and camera angles.
The recent news is another positive indication of the growing popularity of Mixed Martial Arts in Australia, and there is no doubt that MMA will go from strength to strength in this sports-mad country.
Exciting times for Australian UFC fans as tickets go on sale this Monday. UFC Fight Club members will have the first opportunity to buy pre-sale tickets on the 7th of December. According to fightersonlymagazine.co.uk the UFC may be holding an event at the Acer Arena in Sydney next year.
UFC's president Dana White has made his intentions clear that he wants to stage an event in Australia, and the Acer Arena may be the ideal venue as it can accommodate just over 20,000.
